NJMAA is an affiliate organization of the New Jersey Music Educators Association. Music Supervisors from throughout the state meet regularly to act on matters of common concern and to provide resource information for related activities and groups. Objectives of the NJMAA, as stated in its By-Laws, are the following:
NJMAA functions in three modes - regular membership meetings, Executive Board sessions, and ad hoc committees. Its activities are publicized through a column in the NJMEA magazine, TEMPO. Active membership includes certified Directors, Supervisors, and Coordinators of Music. There are also provisions for Affiliate membership by music dealers, college music administrators, and retired supervisors. Annual dues are $45; Retirees, $25 |
